Anaretic Uranus in Taurus: How to Work With Uranus’s Remaining Time in Taurus

Changemaker Uranus is on the move to Gemini, and this means it’s wrapping up the end of its time in earthy Taurus. With it coming to the end of Taurus, Uranus will be anaretic in Taurus for a good chunk of the time. Big!

In astrology, each Zodiac sign is made up of 30 degrees. 0 degrees is the first degree, and 29 degrees is the last degree, and 29 degrees is called the anaretic degree. It can be hugely important when the transit (moving) planets come to the anaretic degree, and trigger events and developments in the world as well as personally.

With anaretic Uranus, this can mean sudden, unexpected events and developments that impact the status quo, stability, and security. What we value may be challenged in big ways, and resources may change.

Uranus is at 29 degrees Taurus: June 16th - July 7th 2025, November 7th - December 1st 2025, and April 5th - 25th 2026.

Tackle stability and security in your own life:

Over the seven years since Uranus has been in Taurus, this has brought changes (Uranus) to stability and security (Taurus), which may have made us feel uncertain, worried, and scared about changes and the future and what we could handle.

The point of this was to make us realize that if we get too comfortable, we become complacent, and no progress is made in our lives when we become complacent. Stability and security are important, but they shouldn’t lull us into a false sense of safety that holds us back.

Uranus can seem like a jerk, I know! But if Uranus isn’t challenging us with change, then we humans can get very, very stuck and stubborn (I’ve said it a million times, we must’ve emerged from the ooze during Taurus or Scorpio Season, no way the human race isn’t a fixed sign!).

So, take a look around your own life over the last seven years. What has lacked stability and security? Uranus probably came in on a warpath and did some damage, but you should have adjusted to this. If you didn’t, now would be the time to do so.

Then take a look at where you’ve been TOO comfortable. Where have you become complacent? What can you do to inject life into this area, and how would that make it better?

Look where you can shake up the status quo:

Jumping off of the first point, the status quo isn’t meant to last forever. It changes with the times, it evolves as we evolve, and that is a good thing. It keeps us going forward, because if we’re not changing the status quo, we’re either stuck or worse, going backward.

Find some creative ways to shake up the status quo. They can be big or small, it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you’re challenging yourself to not get stuck or go backward.

Now, this doesn’t mean you refuse to look backward; you can’t learn from what has come to pass without looking backward. But you can’t get stuck that way, otherwise you never learn, and never grow, and never move on.

Life’s too short for that! Uranus gives you the chance to create a new status quo. Learn from what has occurred, and use that knowledge to look ahead with hope, and create a new status quo that makes new dreams reality.

Assess your connection to what you value in life:

Taurus rules our values, what we feel is worth our time and effort, attention and money, love and care. Uranus has brought some changes to this over the last seven years, and we’ve all likely experienced a shift in what we value by now.

Take time to assess your connection to your values now. Are you holding on to values that no longer align with who you are, or who you want to be? This would be a good time to pivot. Or have you avoided trying to figure out what you value? This would be a good time to focus on that.

It’s also important to make sure that you live in alignment with your values. This is key to living authentically, and to being true to yourself, which Uranus really wants. Uranus urges us to embrace our individuality, and a part of that means being truly ourselves.

For some, the crisis that you may experience with anaretic Uranus is highlighting the fact that you’re out of alignment. So, get back in alignment! This might mean finding new values, but that’s okay. Just make sure they’re authentic to you.

Come up with ways to be more resourceful:

Taurus rules the physical world and our resources. This can include money, as well as material possessions, any objects that we feel are worth something (whether monetary or intangible).

Again, Uranus wants to change things up, so utilizing resources in the same old ways has likely not been the way to go over the last seven years. While Uranus is anaretic in Taurus, this would be a good time to embrace that, and see it as an opportunity to become more resourceful.

Being more resourceful can be a great asset for your life. It helps you adjust to the curveballs life throws at you, and it can get you out of unexpected jams that you find yourself in, and it can make more of your dreams possible.

Get creative in your thinking when it comes to what you have, no matter how little it may seem to be, or how unchanging you may think it is. One of the great attributes of humans is our imagination, so make the most of that and put it to good use.

Remember that we’re moving into a whole new paradigm, so all of these points are crucial if you want to step into it in the best way possible!

Recap:

  • adjust to change sin stability and security, and make changes to avoid complacency

  • align with your values to live authentically

  • be creatively resourceful
